Yesterday I had the honor of joining Mary Lamborn, who is the CEO of MKL Enterprises “The Virtual Bookkeepers” for her Blog Talk Radio show.

I just came back from a fun experience at Sarah Horowitz Parfums in Westlake Village. I took a break and used a gift certificate I received for my birthday.

Upon entering the shop I was greeted by, Perfumer, Marlene. She invited me to sit at the perfume bar where she asked me what I like and don’t like about scents. My likes are minimal. My dislikes are that my eyes get itchy when I walk through the cosmetics in a dept. store. I’ve avoided wearing any perfume because of that.

We went through a questionnaire and then she started pulling scents off the shelves. I got to say what I liked or might like or didn’t like.

In the end she mixed about 10 different scents in different amounts and I have my own perfume mixed just for me. It’s oil based and very clean and crisp. I’ll enjoy wearing it!
